The song Jana-gana-mana is five stanza hymn composed originally in Sanskritized Bengali by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, the first stanza of song was adopted in its Hindi version by the Constituent Assembly as the national anthem of India on 24 January 1950. The playing time of national anthem is approximately 52 seconds.

National anthem is a musical composition meant to evoke a feeling of unity among the people. When the overture plays and people stand attention, it is because of the perceived feeling of belongingness. So lets concentrate on doing some real good for our country and its people.
